respect bro im jamaican and those transformers are gold that is how i think a song to be mixed it should summed to analog to notch out the digital sound im waiting for the price of freaktubes to drop to get me one because i have been telling so many socalled engineers in jamaica that plugins alone can't hit the grammy or billboard chart even when you bring your tracks to a professional mastering engineer they run it trough some analog circuits to get that sound even the ad/da converters has analog circuits transformers resistors high end capacitors or tubes thanks again bro now you convince me.

Hey man just a heads up. There's quite a few times when you're talking to the wrong camera in this video.

Your persistent and frequent use of jump-cuts is annoying! Can you not string together two or more cohesive sentences in one shot?

The hardware is actualy a digital processor unit. Proof that digital saturation can be as good as analog when done properly.

Check their Sontec emulation. It's in the same league than Mixhead. This brand deserves more recognition.

There is no mixbus in atmos though. On a more serious note, this thing doesn't do anything new that you can't already do with FF Saturn.

I extensively tested this plugin carefully level matching wet signal against source audio and I always had a feeling that while it has a nice texture it softens transients, which I didn't like. What's your experience ? Old but still great Sonnox Inflator was much better on transients IMO.

This is probably modelled on the SPL Machine Head hardware unit, from late 90´s. Even the logo resembles the SPL logo 😁. I worked with one at the time and also a similar looking unit also from SPL called Loudness Maximiser. They were installed at a TV station post production suites where I worked at the time.We used it to enhance on air promos and advertising on a TV station. They were both in red colour also.

This is a digital emulation of a 90's hardware digital emulation of a tape machine. Not a direct code port; just an emulation of an old digital emulation of a tape machine. I don't really hear it doing anything special at all that a dozen other plugins can't do equally as well-or better-with more features and without the clumsy GUI. I'm scratching my head why so many (paid) UA-camrs are flipping out over this. Oh, that's right... many are being sponsored. (Not sure about Alex, but point made.) Yeah, the Serban endorsement means something, I guess... but he's supposed to have been completely ITB for years now. So I take that to mean all the hits from the last 7 or 8 years WEREN'T run through his old hardware like he used to do. Or if he still does that, then he actually isn't all ITB as he and John Hanes have claimed. If the former, then he's been doing just fine without it. Either way... this isn't gonna give us Serban-in-a-box. And that's what many of you have come here for. Ask yourself... do you really hear something life-changing transformative? I sure don't.

Great video. I just started using the protools integration for Windows and I am unable to find the binaural settings plugin. Do I need to download it separately? And are you running it as a plugging on a track or bus?

Is it me or the H3000 plugin doesn't have reverbs algorythm inside like Hardware? I see the plugin doesn't have some presets (shimmering etc...) The list of the original hardware presets are not in the plugin? Why?
